Fashion Projects

Here are several examples of fashion projects I have created over my four years as a fashion merchandising student at Virginia Commonwealth University.

Stylzed by Jill

This project was created as a final presentation in the marketing course, Services Marketing. For this project, I was tasked with creating a business of my own which I entitled Stylzed by Jill a personal styling business that is online-based. Then I developed: an executive summary, SWOT analysis, target market strategy, marketing budget, and metrics of the business.

Manifest West

This piece is a presentation created in my fashion forecasting class. My group created a fashion forecast for the Spring/Summer 2022 year that we entitled manifest west. A fashion forecast centered around western wear. We designed a mood board, selected influencers, and a target market that matched our vision for the forecast. Next, we created three color palettes and selected six fabrics, three prints, three patterns, three fabric trimmings to match the fashion forecast. Lastly, we created four looks and selected three key items to bring our forecast to vision.

Adidas Company Analysis

This project was created as a final project for the class, importing and exporting fashion. My group was presented, with the task of completing a company analysis of Adidas. First, we began with a company overview and a brief history of the brand, so we and the audience had a better understanding of the brand, then we discussed the brand philosophy, sourcing strategies, supplier practices, COVID-19 impact, and sustainable practices.

How Can The Fashion Industry Become More Sustainable?

This presentation was created as part of my fashion sustainability course. For this assignment, my group was tasked with developing two goals with multiple steps for various issues to make the fashion industry more sustainable. This issues included workers rights, water, materials, waste, chemicals, emissions, and transparency.
